Changes and transfers

July 30th - On line changes to registrations will close at midnight.  After this,  the only changes we will be able to make is to add substitute runners to existing relay teams.  If you are registered for an individual event (full marathon, half marathon or half marathon walk), you must make this change online before midnight July 30th.  If you need to make changes to a relay team, please email us at  register@yukonmarathon.com.

 Prior to midnight July 30th

Our registration system allows participants registered in an individual event (that is, marathon, half marathon, half-marathon walk) to change race category or transfer their spot to another person if you must withdraw from the race. It also allows relay runners to change the leg(s) that they are running.

If the change you want to make is from an individual event to a relay team, or from a relay team to an individual event, you will need to contact help@events.com or register@yukonmarathon.com to make the change.

Relay teams who withdraw:  Withdrawing relay team members have the option of transferring their spots to individuals who are interested in running one of the individual events - the full marathon, the half-marathon or the half-marathon walk. Teams cannot transfer their spots to another team.

Two important things to keep in mind when you are transferring your spot to another person:

 ·      Any sale must take place between the seller and buyer.  Neither Events.com, nor the race organizing committee, will get involved in the financial transaction.

 ·      If the withdrawing runner purchased a shirt, the shirt transfers to the new person.  The buyer cannot decline the shirt, and should click on "included in transfer"  Within a week, Events.com will send a message asking the buyer for their preferred shirt size.  Keep in mind that our shirt inventory is limited and we may not have your preferred shirt size.

If you encounter any difficulties in changing race category or legs, or in transferring spots to another person, contact register@yukonmarathon.com.

Happy running and see you in August.
